Staff Development Day – 20th July Staff from Pleasant Hills, Yerong Creek, Boree Creek and casual staff participated in TAFE CPR and Anaphylaxis training. The tests required knowledge and practical skills to be evaluated by the trainer.

Movements & Melodies – Thursday 2nd July At the end of last term, our K-6 students presented a wonderful concert to a live audience – thank you to family and friends for supporting our students! The concert featured recorder performances, singing, a poetry presentation, and a variety of dances, including some special choreography created by our very own students for the song “The Good Times.” Students worked together in small groups to create unique dance routines that reflected the lyrics and style of the music.

Congratulations to all our children on their fantastic performances and creative achievements! We are very fortunate to have Mrs Madden at Pleasant Hills Public School teaching Creative Arts to our students! Their excellent performance is testament to her talent and dedication to our students. This term they have commenced drama activities, with the students experimenting with different scenes and characters.

Term 3 Personal Development / Health Units This term, the students will be covering some of the mandatory Child Protection topics during their class lessons.
