Our Branch held a “spur of the moment” Street Stall at Bunnings to raise funds for Breast Cancer. Despite a hot day, we soldiered on and sold most of our wares, raising a good sum for the cause. Special thanks to junior member Madi Lamsden for her help alongside our regular members.
Show Results
We entered exhibits in both The Rock Show and the Albury Show. At the Albury Show, Carol Grylls was awarded the Champion Exhibit for her beautiful piece of Assisi Work—congratulations, Carol! Many other members were also successful in the cooking and craft sections.
Community Memorabilia
The Branch has purchased a three-part glass cabinet for the Hall Meeting Room. This will be used to display Pleasant Hills memorabilia, furthering our goal to preserve local history.
Christmas Celebrations
As there was no November meeting, our final gathering and Christmas Party was held at Carol & Des Grylls’ home. We enjoyed a Kris Kringle with a "something you’ve made" theme, which brought many creative surprises.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and good health and happiness in the New Year!
