Here we are, the year is done and what success it has brought. An exceptional finals series with a lot of nail-biting games but only one team for each grade can win and sometimes that’s just the best team on the day.
Premiers:
- Under 14s: Holbrook
- Under 17s: Henty
- Reserves: Osborne
- Firsts: Osborne
Congratulations to all of these teams, what a great effort.
In the AFL there have been some upsets all round. We are down to the final two teams in Geelong Cats and Brisbane Lions. Collingwood and Hawthorn left everything out there but weren’t good enough.
This will be my last footy column for 2025. See you all next year.
