We are over halfway through the season and you can definitely see in the Hume League the teams to beat in all age groups. In the under 14s Holbrook and Henty are staying strong with Holbrook over them by just the one game win. In the under 17s Henty are up the top but Rand Walbundrie Walla are following closely. The reserves contest is a fight between Osborne and Howlong, but Holbrook and Lockhart are knocking on the top 2 door. In Firsts, the draw is extremely close, although Osborne and Holbrook are first and second.
In the AFL, Collingwood is nearly three games in front of second place. Western Bulldogs are proving there is a good team but can’t seem to play well against the good teams. Giants are playing well the same with Gold Coast but the Suns aren’t in the eight so they are going to have to claw their way back in. North Melbourne had an upset against Carlton.
