We had a great day at Pleasant Hills and a big welcome to Kaz who won 1st Prize at Henty Show with her quilt and Marnie the Dachshund Dog who we didn’t hear a peep out of until a man paid us a visit.
We had UFO’s all around with some long overdue Christmas placemats, Owl wooden toothbrush Wallhanging being finished for the next generation baby. Panels and Mystery Quilts being finished, hand embroidered stitcheries on linen, the commencement of a murder mystery block of the month. A demonstration by Wanda making her fabric Rug using scraps and a recycled was interesting.
Our next meet is Saturday 15th March and we will tackle the Black Outlined String Block Pole Twist and the tutorial can be downloaded or viewed at PJs CraftyCreations.blogspot.com. Email the Pleasant Hills Newsletter email on the last page and let me know if you would like instructions emailed to you.
As always if you are busy working on a UFO and prefer to continue working on your own project you are more than welcome to do so. Remember to BYO your own lunch and $6 for hall hire as well as all your sewing requisites and show and tell is always welcome.
