We had a good attendance at our September meeting. Four members travelled to Griffith for the ACWW Multi-Cultural Afternoon, which included taste-testing foods from several countries. We also purchased $100 worth of sewing aids for Island Countries.
The Henty Field Days catering was a success. Many thanks to members who made sandwiches, wraps, and slices. We raffled decorated cakes each day:
- Tuesday: Raised over $200 for Leukaemia.
- Wednesday: Raised over $300 for Mental Health Counselling.
- Thursday: Raised $500 for Boys to the Bush and $200 for Domestic Violence support.
Special congratulations to Eunice McRae, who celebrates her 90th birthday on 1st October. We held a luncheon at the Commercial Golf Club to celebrate.
Upcoming events include an entry in The Rock Show on 19th October and the Riverina Group Conference at Ganmain on 9th October. Our next meeting is on 16th October at the Commercial Club in Albury.
