Pub AGM will be on Friday 16th August at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome and encouraged to attend on this night and we are looking for a number of new committee members so please consider taking up a position.
So great to have some outside groups coming to the pub like the Lockhart Railway Social Club, Henty locals coming out on the bus supplied by the Pub committee. There is also a number of other groups coming in the next couple of months with Delta Ag having a Christmas in July dinner, the Riverina Tractor trekkers coming back in late August and of course the local footy/netball clubs supporting our little pub.
Date to put in the Calendar: Sunday Lunch on the Verandah 28th July. Bookings will be online this time and pre-payment required to stop the no shows. Keep an eye out for the menu and the booking link when it becomes available.
The Community Pub will be 25 years in 2025 and the committee is planning an event to celebrate, most likely in March but as more details become available, I will put out in the newsletter and the Facebook page. If you have any ideas for this day, please pass onto any of the committee members.
Would like to thank all the volunteers helping out at the pub with the extra happenings as all have busy lives and the pub doesn’t operate without this extra commitment from all these people.
