We had a great day with lots of UFO's getting finished and new projects undertaken. Our next project is a Signature Bear on Saturday 18 May. If you would like to do this, email Virginia Clancy via the newsletter email and instructions can be forwarded to you.
Help will be available to assist with the pattern, templates and the process on the day. The bear is usually made from Calico to enable people gifting the bear to sign or write messages for the recipient. The feet and features are made with coloured fabric; plastic eyes or buttons and bow ties look good too.
You can make the bear this way or with one or multiple coloured fabrics. A great gift for young and old birthdays, or to remind someone that you are thinking of them.
BYO: All your sewing requisites and sewing machine, Calico and coloured fabric, eyes (Carole will have some for purchase). Bring your own lunch and $6 for the hall hire.
