A Happy New Year to all! We were thrilled that our Pleasant Hills Primary School students won the Riverina Group International Primary School PowerPoint Presentation. They now go on to the State competition, with winners announced in May.

Donations and Support

Our Branch donated $1000 to the CWA State Disaster Relief Fund and provided funds to the Gidget Fund. Our Christmas break-up was an enjoyable time for all, with the Kris Kringle causing many laughs.

Competitions and Shows

Wendy is organizing our exhibit for the Henty Show. We also have the Group Handicraft and Land Cookery Day coming up on March 16th at Collingullie. All cooks who won first or second place during the year are eligible to compete.

Fundraising and Community

A mini-lamington drive prior to Australia Day earned us $200. We also congratulate Allison Scott for winning the Citizen of the Year Award for Greater Hume Shire.

Our next meeting will be held at the Commercial Club in Albury on 14th February, starting at 10:30am.
