We had lots happening in November with the patterns Woven Bliss and Scrap Patch Interlace. Denim Jean Bags made from old jeans. Appliqued Bunny Baby Quilt bound in an oval shape, Japanese hand sewing known as Sashiko and an amazing quilt where the Centre Feature was a Tapestry. Attic Window Wall Hanging and many quilts of various patterns finished and off the UFO pile. To protect the tapestry whilst being quilted it was covered with tear away interfacing which was then removed.

We would like to pass on our condolences to the family of Prida McGee on her recent passing. Prida attended the patchwork meetings in the past, more often than not making clothes for her beloved grandchildren. Prida will be sorely missed.

Christmas is coming and December 16th is our Christmas Party. We will have a UFO Day so you can bring whatever you would like to work on or maybe Christmas themed. We hope to have a projector and slides to view quilts from the recent Braidwood Quilt show and ugly fabric challenge and from Melbourne Quilt Convention and a couple of games as well. We also decide on our Calendar of Projects for the next 12 months and therefore if you have a pattern to share with us, please bring it along (picture and instructions) or if you would like to learn a particular pattern or technique please ask as a pattern may be found.

BYO: A plate of Food to share for Lunch or Morning Tea (not both). If you have a special diet requirement, then please just bring your own morning tea/lunch. A wrapped gift related to patchwork or sewing costing less than $10 for our Gift Swap Game. $6 for Hall Hire, Sewing Requisites for Project you are working on.

Feel free to come dressed in a Christmas shirt, Santa hat or tinsel if you would like to help set the Christmas Theme for the day. Let's have fun on our last patchwork day for 2023.
