We held our monthly meeting at the Commercial Golf Club for somewhere different. Our members were very involved in the Henty Field Days, creating a 1960s theme for the Stage in the Country Lifestyle Pavilion to celebrate 60 years of the event.
Lyn gave talks on life and cooking in the 1960s, while Nett demonstrated mosaics. Our ladies worked hard keeping fridges stocked during the hot weather and assisting with the Fashion Parades and Natural Fibre Awards. The cakes we raffled raised over $900 for Leukaemia, Mental Health, and Country Hope.
We have started our Christmas raffle with multiple prizes. Tickets were handed out at the meeting.
