We had a lot of UFO's (Unfinished Objects) under way at last Saturday's meet and lots of show and tell as you can see by the collage attached.

Our next project is Takuapo (Korean Patchwork) traditionally hand sewn but we have patterns for both hand and machine sewn. Its origins were a wrap cloth made from scraps of fabric. From these beginnings it has now taken its place in Contemporary Textile Art Shows, also known as Bojagi, it is a traditional Korean form of Patchwork and Quilting.

Attached is instructions to print out and bring with you if you are doing this project. Anyone needing assistance with printing please contact Debbie. A great way to use up some scrap fabric.

If you are still working on your UFO's, you are more than welcome to come along and do your own project. BYO your lunch, $6 for hall hire, sewing machine and all sewing requisites. Looking forward to another fabulous day at the hills.
