Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea
Thank you to everyone who visited our school on Wednesday, 17th May, to support our Biggest Morning Tea. The students organized several competition games to raise extra money, and the staff and parents provided a delicious morning tea. We raised $330, which is a great effort for a very small school!
Cross Country
Congratulations to all the students who competed at the Southern Riverina Cross Country at Jindera recently. Good luck to Samantha Terlich, who will represent us at the Riverina PSSA Carnival on Friday, 23rd September.
GRIP Leadership Conference
Our school leaders — Milly Quee, Samuel Heald, and Isabelle Male — attended the GRIP Leadership Conference in Wagga on the 1st of May with Mrs. Baaten. They enjoyed the day and brought back several new ideas to implement at our school.
Golf Lessons
We received funding through the Sporting Schools Grant and have participated in our first skills session with Scott from the Wagga City Golf Club. Everyone enjoyed their lesson and looks forward to learning to play on a real golf course by the end of the term.
Lockhart Excursion
On Wednesday, 31st May, students traveled by bus to visit the Lockhart Museum and attend the Musica Viva concert held at Lockhart Central School.
