Temora Trip

Recently, eleven ladies from the Patchwork Group enjoyed a trip to Temora for some "retail therapy" and an insight into the world of longarm quilting. Our day began with coffee and muffins before exploring the Community Art & Craft Shop and Nel's fabric shop, which impressed everyone with its wide selection of fabrics, patterns, and precuts.

We also visited the local Vinnies for some bargains and enjoyed a terrific lunch. A highlight of the trip was visiting Sarah, a professional quilter, who demonstrated how her two Gammill longarm quilting machines work to finish quilts.

Upcoming Meeting

Our next meeting will be a UFO (UnFinished Objects) day on the 17th of June. Bring along whatever you are currently working on, your sewing requisites, and your lunch. We look forward to seeing everyone's "Show and Tell" items!

"You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy fabric and that’s pretty close."
