On the 11th of April 2023, a 1960 Deutz tractor pulling a camper van headed to the 18th National Vintage Rally in Mudgee. Kerry Pietsch and Peter Roberts covered 520 km in three days to reach the rally, which featured vintage cars, trucks, and tractors from across Australia.
Highlights included a tractor pull featuring Chamberlain Super 90s and a hotted-up bulldog tractor. An Australian-made Upton tractor from Corowa was a crowd favorite, successfully pulling a heavy sledge without stopping. The return trip took them through Gulgong, Wellington, Canowindra, and Junee. In total, they covered 1175 km—not bad for an old tractor!
