Our Branch held its March meeting at the B&B in Henty. We’ve had a busy month with members attending the Group Council Meeting at Uranquinty and a special “How To” day in Wagga Wagga with Mrs Ellice Schrader.
On Saturday, 11th March, several members attended the Handicraft and Land Cookery Day at Collingullie. Pleasant Hills won the trophy for the Most Successful Branch in the Land Cookery. Natalie & Margaret Hasler, Jessica Maloney, Lyn Lieschke, and Lyn Jacobsen all won prizes. In the Handicraft Section, Jessica and Flynn Maloney won first prize in their junior sections, which now go on to the State Conference.
We have purchased an outdoor setting of a table and eight chairs and donated it to Avondale Place in Henty. Lyn is also cooking Hot Cross Buns as a fundraiser.
