We are holding our Christmas break-up party on Wednesday, November 30th at Brady’s Hotel, where Henty Evening members will join us. The colour scheme for the Kris Kringle is silver and gold and is to be something bought from an Op Shop or re-cycled from your supplies.

Bunnings’ have finally allowed the cake stalls to start again after Covid, so we’ve had two Scone, Muffin and Biscuit Stalls this month raising money for the Flood Appeal. People were very generous, and together with the two stalls, donations and mini lamington drives, we have been able to raise $2,000.00 for this Appeal, which although a mere pittance as to what is needed, is a pretty big effort from our small branch.

We have also given money towards a new portable ECG Machine for the Albury Base Hospital, and the Relay for Life event in recent times. We have purchased a Square Reader to use at Street Stalls etc, as so many people don’t carry cash anymore and we felt we needed to keep up with the times.

We had an entry in The Rock Show, which came third in the CWA exhibit, so congratulations to the members who contributed. Wendy attended a Handicraft “Learning Day” at Tarcutta, which she enjoyed and said was a good day.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! Our February Meeting will be at the Commercial Club in Albury on 8th February 2023 at 10.30am.
