I love to walk in Pleasant Hills There’s lots of things to see I mostly walk with my dog Murph He loves to come with me.
Even when it’s cold and wet He waits at our front door He’s ready any time of day To come and help explore.
Sometimes we walk right up the road Then head towards the tip The road is dirt and has loose stones I’m careful not to slip.
On other days we’ll head to town And stroll along the street We walk down past the tennis club The courts and grounds are neat.
Sometimes we meander to the hall And read about its past It was the Literary Institute And it was built to last.
Some days we’ll walk The Esplanade A shortcut that we take We avoid that way in summer In case we see a snake.
Then we’ll head towards the corner To see the post office and pub An important part of history It is the community hub.
So take a walk around Pleasant Hills There’s so much more to see I have to say it really is A pleasant place to be.
