ANZAC Day 2022 — Flight Lieutenant Nicholas Pope Speaks at Hall Service

This year the Pleasant Hills Hall welcomed 81 men, women and children to the 2022 ANZAC Day service to honour our service men and women. It was a beautiful day, and the autumn light spilled into the hall for the service.

Our guest speaker this year was Flight Lieutenant Nicholas Pope, who spoke of joining together as a community to volunteer and support each other, as the diggers did by enlisting in both WW1 and WW2.

Thank you to Emily Turner for playing the organ and to Anthony Male for stepping in as MC. A huge thank you to Peter Creek, Corey Beckett, and the Male family for the working bee to set up the hall, and to all those who helped pack up and serve on the day.
