The tennis season has quickly come to an end. Section 3a had a competitive season and actually defeated one of the clubs that played in the grand final, but alas, no finals this season. We finished the season with a bus trip to Balldale Hotel for a social lunch.
Section 6 has had a great season! They finished the home and away season second on the ladder. They played Walbundrie in the elimination final and came away with a win by a very narrow margin of 1 game. Then they moved on to the grand final played at Jindera, where they again came away with a win against Culcairn by only 3 games.
The sportsmanship and encouragement our team showed towards each other and the opposition is to be congratulated. The future is bright at Pleasant Hills Tennis Club. Our team this season was: Jesse Cheney, Beau & Mahliq Brailey, Milly Forrest, Annie Singe, Zoe & Rachael Lieschke, Kelsey Maloney, Milly Quee, Declan Morey, Chelsea Reynolds and Joe Driscoll - well done kids.
Coaching has 3 weeks to go this term and we are hoping to continue it for next term if we have enough interest.
