On the 20th March “Lunch under the Verandah” was held again. It was a huge success. We had a crowd of 81 people to enjoy the beautiful weather, amazing food and a couple of drinks in the company of friends. We were entertained with tunes from Jacob Wilksch on guitar and vocals for the afternoon.
A great big “Thankyou” for the hard work of Michelle Sharp and Janette Hahn for the planning of the day. A huge thankyou to Sherree and Maddie who worked behind the bar and made some of their world famous and very delicious cocktails. There is the biggest thankyou to Belinda (our fantastic Chief) and her team made up of local very professional budding restaurateurs, Chloe, Jorden, Molly, Grace, and Annie.
We should all be proud of the contribution and effort that is made in our small community. It is being noticed and complimented. Well done everyone. The word is getting out people so make sure you book early for the next “Lunch Under the Verandah”.
Note: The first Saturday of the month from April to July will be the Friday Takeaway menu due to a lack of cooks and then will be back to normal with extra volunteers coming on board after that.
