Kindergarten 2022
Our Kindergarten student for 2022, James Terlich. James has settled into the routine of ‘big school!’ Welcome James!
Staff for 2022
Mrs Zillah Gleeson and Mrs Claire Baaten are team-teaching K—6. Our learning space enables us to explicitly teach the students throughout the day. Mrs Debbie Gerhardy (Wednesday’s) and Mrs Ann Madden (Thursday’s) will be releasing our teachers. Mrs Liz Lane will be offering learning support two days per week, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s. Mrs Julianne Clancy will be in our office from Monday to Wednesday; and Phil and Brenda complete our staffing keeping the school and grounds looking clean and tidy!
COVID-19 Update
From Monday 7 March, masks will no longer be mandatory for staff in primary schools and early childhood settings. This staggered change recognises the lower vaccination rates in primary school-aged students. From Monday 28 February, schools will align with community settings of ‘symptomatic testing’ and the department will provide 8 tests per student and staff in schools.
If your child has even mild COVID-19 symptoms, get them tested with a RAT or PCR (nose and throat swab) test. They must isolate until they receive a negative test result, in line with health protocols.
Henty Junior Art Competition
Students who were at school on Thursday 24th February have entered the competition. Their characters all looked fabulous, and they have done an amazing job!
