We had a great day and lots of Patchwork Block Holders being started. This coming patchwork day will be a good opportunity for those to finish. Sue had more Patchwork block holders that were finished to show us and the Sewing Machine patchworked on her Block Holder was finished off with various sewing notions and buttons. Carole's Block holder has yummy looking Cupcakes appliqued on the front. Mavis has finished her Shadow Block and gifted it to her Granddaughter who loved it. Janine finished her Fat Quarter Quilt, and it looks great.
Our next meeting is Saturday February 19th and it is a UFO day so that you can continue working on whatever you like. The day starts at 9.30 to 3.30 and BYO all your sewing requisites, lunch, $6, hand sanitizer and mask. If you feel unwell, please do not come to Patchwork.
We love show and tell so please bring them along. Also, if you have any Rag Quilts or Bags previously made, please bring them along to show and tell maybe for inspiration to others as this is our next project.
