Hard to believe a new season isn’t all that far away (fingers crossed). We have held our AGM and the committee is as follows:
- President: David Stein
- Vice President: Grant Morey
- Secretaries: Sarah Newton & Carol Smith
- Treasurer: Renae Lieschke
A big thank you to Cathryn Singe for her time as treasurer.
If anyone is interested in playing (either Saturday afternoons - please let Renae Lieschke know or possible Henty night tennis - let Cathryn Singe know) more teenagers, especially girls, would be great, even if just to play occasionally. We should be able to field 3-4 teams again, depending on the makeup of the junior grades.
We have great news in that coaching will be back in term 4 on Friday nights with a qualified coach. Keep a look out on our Facebook page for coaching during holidays too. Please let Renae know if interested in those.
We’re looking forward to using our new club room more so we’re hoping we don’t have to wait too long. Thanks to everyone for maintenance over the off-season, especially Dale & Grant for working on steps & other finishing off jobs.
