We had a lovely day, warm inside but cold and wet outside. The challenge was taken up by most ladies present and we are hoping the ones that didn't make it will have a go as well.
It was interesting to see the different patterns chosen. It was discussed that the projects for the challenge be part of a secret judging to be done at our Christmas Patchwork Day, with the winner to receive a small prize donated by Deb. So, if you were unable to attend and would still like to do the challenge, please do so. If you finish your challenge project and need to gift it before December, please photograph it to be included for judging; otherwise, complete or not, we will view them all in December.
The ladies that didn't do the challenge were busy with UFO projects they needed to work on. A big Thank You to Mavis for replacing our Ironing Board covers, with fabric supplied by Deb.
Our next meeting is Saturday 21st August 2021 (covid permitting, Deb will email everyone again if we are unable to meet) and will be a UFO day. Therefore, ladies, come along and complete those Un-Finished Objects.
