Sunday lunch planned for the 22nd August has been cancelled due the ongoing uncertainty and Covid restrictions that are in place at the moment. Let’s hope September gets back to a little more normality.
Plans are in place for a regular trivia evening. Bookings will be essential while the current restrictions are in place. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for further information.
AGM Results
The Pub AGM was held on Friday 30th July and was good to see a larger attendance than has been in previous years. There has been a couple of changes in the committee with Cathy Terlich and Denis Clancy stepping aside and three new members coming on: Julianne Clancy, Sherree Morey and Marty Chamberlain. Executive positions remain the same with Dick Smith as President and Suzanne Forck as Secretary/Treasurer.
Pleasant Hills Post Office and Shop
As you most probably have heard by now, the Post Office is no longer under the Pleasant Hills Community Association. The trading of the Post Office hasn’t changed, with Cathy Terlich running the Post Office.
Cathy Terlich is now the licensee of the Pleasant Hills Post Office and is operating the shop independently. Cathy and Nidine hope you will support us by accessing Australia Post services such as banking, paying accounts, mail and supporting the shop. We are a small business who rely on the community to remain open and viable so we can serve the community in the best possible way. If there are any ways you think we can better serve the community by providing more services and products or any ways you think you can help us, come and see us at the Post Office.
"Small businesses are like muscles, if you don't use them, you lose them."
