The inaugural "Sunday Lunch Under the Verandah" was a massive success, with over 70 people enjoying gourmet food and live entertainment by Brian Liston. The event saw support from the Lockhart Shire Mayor and council members. A big thank you to the Sharp and Hahn families for the presentation, and to Belinda Creek and the local youth staff for the exceptional service.
The next lunch is scheduled for 23rd May, featuring a menu of roasted lamb rump, Tuscan chicken, or pulled pork & beef patties. Bookings are essential.
Recycling for the Community
The Walla Lions Club is partnering with the pub to collect cans and bottles for recycling. Community members can bring their stashed containers to the pub for collection, with proceeds supporting local initiatives. Contact Suzanne for more information on the next collection date.
