The Pleasant Hills Community Hotel is introducing Sunday lunches on the veranda, with the first event scheduled for 18th April. Catered by Belinda Hindmarsh, the two-course meal is $40 per person. Guests can enjoy live guitar music by Brian Liston from 12pm. Bookings are essential.
COVID-19 Update
Patrons are now officially allowed to stand at the bar while consuming alcoholic beverages. While things are returning to normal, everyone is still encouraged to sign in and sanitise their hands upon entry.
Ian McGee Memorial Garden
A small gathering was held at the hotel to unveil a plaque in honour of the late Ian McGee. Prida McGee, supported by Oriel Ridge, performed the unveiling on a rainy afternoon. Ian was the instigator of the garden on the east side of the hotel fence six years ago, spending many hours with Rodney Cox to develop it. The plaque honours Ian's care for the Pleasant Hills village and his dedication to its upkeep.
