Items reported in The Lockhart and Oaklands Advertiser, 11th April 1933:
Football Club Meeting
A meeting was held to discuss the formation of a football club, chaired by Mr. G. Wilkinson with Mr. Chas. Lindner as acting Secretary. Despite a large attendance, there was a lack of interest in forming a team due to the unavailability of old players. However, it was agreed to rejoin The Rock and District Association. Delegates elected were G. Wilkinson, P. Knobel, and Chas. Lindner, with Mr. Les. Klemke appointed as secretary.
The Bogged Banker
Rumours swirled when the official from the Bank of N.S.W. failed to arrive for his usual Friday business day. A search party discovered that he hadn't been robbed, but was hopelessly bogged on the road out of Henty.
