We held our first meeting after “lockdown”, and how good to see everyone again! We met in the CWA rooms at Henty, where we proudly showed off our First Prize certificates for winning the Past State President’s Award and the Wagga Daily Advertiser’s State Publicity Award.
We have organised some Land Cookery for the next meeting for those who wish to enter:
- Sultana Cake (not more than 500g sultanas, 20cm tin).
- Plain traditional sponge (two round 20cm tins, jam in middle, no icing).
- Cherry Blush Cake (celebrating 70 years of The Land newspaper sponsorship).
This year's Country of Study is Ecuador. If anyone knows someone who has been to Ecuador and could be a guest speaker, please contact a CWA member.
Our next meeting will be at the Commercial Club in Albury on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:30am.
