Footy Tipping 2020
The pub will have a footy tipping competition this season and there is still a chance if you still would like to enter. Names must be in by 10th March to Suzanne (0428 293 047).
Some details of the competition:
- Entry is $25/person.
- Can be paid at the pub by Round 5 or via direct deposit.
- Tips can be submitted via cards at the pub, email (locksley76@yahoo.com.au), or text.
- Tips must be in by the start of the first game of the round.
- First Round starts Thursday 19th March.
FOGO Waste System Discussion
A representative from the Lockhart Shire Council, Elise Wenden, will be at the pub on the evening of Friday 6th March (6pm - 7:30pm) to answer any questions or queries regarding the upcoming introduction of the new Fogo rubbish bin system (green waste). The system will be introduced from the 1st April 2020. Make sure you come along if you want your opinions heard.
Hotel Updates
There will be a measured amount of chips for your $5 now to make sure the serves are more uniform.
The pub is always looking for additional hands to help in the kitchen and the bar. If you could help out once every month or two, it would be greatly appreciated. Please remember that the Pleasant Hills Community Hotel is run by volunteers who donate their valuable time to keep it running.
