Pleasant Hills CWA

We are looking forward to another interesting year in CWA. Our Christmas Party was most enjoyable, and Henty Evening Branch ladies joined us. Since then, we’ve all enjoyed a bit of a break. We are also pleased to welcome a new member, Bruna Terlich.

We are going to donate a piece of furniture off their list to Avondale Place Respite Centre in Henty. We held another Scone, muffin, and biscuit stall at Bunnings in December, raising funds for Avondale Place in Henty. Bev Frohling, Lyn Jacobsen and Margaret Hasler.

At this we also drew our raffle, with Margaret Hasler being the winner of the dressed dolls, and we had several smaller raffles drawn as well. From the previous stalls, our Branch have given $1500 to Oxley Group CWA to help with flood relief, since the majority of their Group have suffered from the recent flooding event, and we also have some money for Eugowra Branch, whose rooms were washed away.

We were thrilled to be given the money from Dales IGA Community Chest Program for last year - $469.83, which will be put to good use. Thank you to all who supported us.
